Dire Deal Done

The deal that was finished and blown out of the water is now done, according to the BBC.

Kieron Dire, the most aptly-named footballer ever, has finally signed for West Ham, proving that they will sign anyone, even injury-plagued midfielders who had potential in 2002. An amazing fact from the Guardian's Knowledge column recently, was that, in the last five seasons, Paul Scholes has scored more goals at St James's Park than Kieron Dire.
